Beamsplitters

For high efficiency energy splitting applications. Where nearly all incidental energy is either transmitted or reflected, with a minimum of absorption loss. With low absorption as well as relatively flat spectral response across the designed wavelength. Designed to divide or combine two or more beams of light, for specific transmission and reflection ratios, wavelength regions, polarization, and angle of incidence. Cube beamsplitters pass one polarization and reflects the other (50% p-polarized and 50% s-polarized) and are also used as polarizers. All beamsplitters are polarizing to some extent, plate beamsplitters are less polarizing than cube beamsplitters.

Cold Mirrors

Used in applications where it is desirable to reflect a cool beam of visible light and remove the heat by transmission.

Used in specialty applications where it is desirable to illuminate the subject with ultraviolet light and view visible fluorescence.

Color Separation Filters

Separate visible light into usable spectral regions reflecting one region of color while transmitting another. Color separation filters are Used in systems where the requirement is for the incident energy is split into two or more beams, each having a different spectral content or color. Color separation filters are made for both additive (blue, green, red) and subractive (cyan, magenta, yellow) applications. Additive filters are available in transmissive and reflective, subractive filters are available in transmissive, and both at 0 degrees and 45 degrees.

Red Additive
CS-REDT= 50% @ 585nm, T(ave) > 75% from 610-730nm, T(ave) < 1% from 380-550nm. AOI= 0deg

Yellow Subtractive
CS-YELLOWT= 50% @ 520nm, T(ave) > 85% from 550-750nm, T(ave) < 1% from 410-475nm. AOI= 0deg

Cyan Subtractive
CS-CYANT= 50% @ 590nm, T(ave) > 80% from 400-550nm, T(ave) < 1% from 540-640nm. AOI= 0deg

Magenta Subtractive
CS-MAGENTAT= 50% @ 495nm & 605nm, T(ave)< 1% from 535-565nm, T(ave) > 80% from 380-475nm & 650-750nm. AOI= 0deg

Red Reflective

Blue Reflective
